The descendants of Benjamin

1. Benjamin begot Bela his firstborn, Ashbel his second son, and Ahara his third;
2. Noah, the fourth; and Rapha, the fifth.
3. These were the sons of Bela: Adhar, Gera the father of Ehud,
4. Abishua, Naaman, Ahoh,
5. Gera, Shefufa and Huram.
6. These were the descendants of Ehud, heads of the families of the inhabitants of Geba, who were deported to Manahath:
7. Naaman, Ahijah and Gera. This Gera, the father of Uzzah and Ahihud, was the one who carried them away.
8. After he had divorced his wives Hushim and Baara, Shaharaim had sons in the land of Moab.
9. By his wife Hodesh he fathered Jobab, Zibiah, Mesha, Malcam,
10. Jeush, Sachias, and Mirmah. These were his sons, heads of families.
11. And Hushim begat Abitub and Elpaal.
12. These were the sons of Elpaal: Heber, Mishan, and Shemed, who founded Ono and Lod with their villages.
13. Beriah and Shema were the heads of the families of the inhabitants of Aijalon, and they were the ones who drove out the inhabitants of Gath.
14. Ayo, Shashak, Jeremoth,
15. Zebadiah, Arad, Eder,
16. Michael, Ispah, and Joah were descendants of Beriah.
17. Zebadiah, Meshullam, Hizki, Heber,
18. Ishmerai, Izliah, and Jobab were descendants of Elpaal.
19. Jachin, Zichri, Zabdi,
20. Elienai, Ziletai, Eliel,
21. Adaiah, Beraiah and Shimrath were descendants of Shimei.
22. Ishpan, Heber, Eliel,
23. Abdon, Zicri, Hanan,
24. Hananiah, Elam, Anthotiah,
25. Iphdeiah and Penuel were descendants of Shashak.
26. Sanserai, Shearias, Athaliah,
27. Jaaresiah, Elijah and Zichri were descendants of Jeroham.
28. All these were heads of fathers' houses, leaders, as listed in their genealogies, and they lived in Jerusalem.
29. Jeiel the father of Gibeon lived in the city of Gibeon. His wife's name was Maacah.
30. that of his eldest son, Abdon; and that of his other sons, Zur, Kish, Baal, Ner, Nadab,
31. Gedor, Aio, Zequer
32. and Mikloth, who was the father of Shimea. They also lived near their relatives in Jerusalem.
33. Ner begot Kish, who begot Saul. Saul begot Jonathan, Malkishua, Abinadab and Eshbaal.
34. Jonathan's son was Merib-Baal, who was the father of Micah.
41. These were the sons of Micah: Pithom, Melech, Tareiah and Ahaz.
36. Ahaz was the father of Jehoadah, and Jehoadah was the father of Alemeth, Azmaveth, and Zimri, and Zimri was the father of Moza.
37. Moza begot Binea, the father of Rapha, the father of Eleasa, the father of Azel.
38. Azel had six sons: Azrikam, Bocheru, Ishmael, Sheariah, Obadiah and Hanan. All these were the sons of Azel.
39. These were the sons of Eshek his brother: Ulam the firstborn, Jeush the second, and Eliphelet the third.
40. The sons of Ulam were valiant soldiers and skilled archers. They had many sons and grandsons, one hundred and fifty in all. All these were descendants of Benjamin.
