publicidad

- 2. In the day of my distress I seek the Lord; At night I stretch out my hands without ceasing; my soul refuses to be comforted.
- 3. I remember God and sigh; I meditate, and my spirit faints.
- 4. You don't allow me to close my eyes; I'm so upset I can't speak.
- 5. Reflecting on the days of old, on the years long gone,
- 6. I remember my songs at night; in my heart I meditate, and my spirit asks:
- 7. Will the Lord reject forever? Will you ever be in favor again?
- 8. Is your love gone forever? Has his promise failed for all generations?
- 9. Did God forget to be merciful? In his anger did he suppress compassion?
- 10. Then I thought: “It distresses me, that the right hand of the Most High has changed.”
- 11. I will remember the deeds of the Lord; I will remember your ancient miracles.
- 12. I will meditate on all your works and consider all your deeds.
- 13. Your ways, O God, are holy. Which god is as big as our God?
- 14. You are the God who performs miracles; you have revealed your power among the peoples.
- 15. With your arm you rescued your people, the descendants of Jacob and Joseph.
- 16. The waters saw you, O God, the waters saw you and writhed; even the abysses shook.
- 17. The clouds poured rain, thunder sounded in the heavens; your arrows shined everywhere.
- 18. The crash of your thunder echoed in the whirlwinds, the lightnings illuminated the world; the earth shook and trembled.
- 19. Your path was through the sea, your path through mighty waters, but no one saw your footprints.
- 20. You led your people like a flock, by the hand of Moses and Aaron.
