  • 1. O Lord, my God, in you I take refuge; save me from all who persecute me and deliver me from their power.
  • 2. Lest they tear me apart like lions and tear me to pieces without anyone freeing me.
  • 3. O Lord my God, if I have done wrong, if my hands are stained with guilt,
  • 4. If I have harmed someone who was at peace with me or spared my adversary for no reason,
  • 5. then allow the enemy to pursue me, to overtake me to the ground and trample my life, casting my honor in the dust.
  • 6. Arise, Lord, in your wrath! Rise against the fury of my adversaries! Awaken, my God, and bring justice!
  • 7 Gather the nations around you; from the heights, reigns over them.
  • 8. .O Lord, you are the judge of the peoples; judge me according to my righteousness, according to my integrity.
  • 9. Put an end to the wickedness of the wicked, O righteous God, and establish the righteous in safety, for you search the hearts and minds.
  • 10. My shield is in God, who saves the upright in heart.
  • 11. God is a just judge, a God who manifests his wrath every day.
  • 12. If the wicked does not repent, he sharpens his sword; draw your bow and prepare it,
  • 13. prepare deadly weapons and make your arrows flaming arrows.
  • 14.The wicked conceives evil and generates disillusionment; in his belly he prepares deception.
  • 15. He digs a hole and makes it deeper, but he falls into the trap he made.
  • 16. His wickedness will turn against him; his violence will fall on his own head.
  • 17. I will thank the Lord for his righteousness; To the name of the Most High Lord I will sing praises
