Psalms, Chapter 6:

1. Do not rebuke me, Lord, in your anger, nor discipline me in your wrath.
2. Have mercy on me, Lord, for I faint; Heal me, Lord, for my bones are shaken.
3. My soul is also deeply troubled; but you, Lord, how long?
4. Return, Lord, deliver my soul; save me by your mercy.
5. For among the dead there is no memory of you; in the tomb, who will give you praise?
6. I'm tired of moaning so much; every night I make my bed swim in tears; I flood my bed with tears.
7. My eyes are consumed with sadness; They withered away because of all my enemies.
8. Let all those who practice iniquity depart from me, for the Lord has heard the sound of my weeping.
9. The Lord has heard my prayer; the Lord welcomes my prayer.
10. All my enemies will be ashamed and disturbed; they will fall back and be covered with shame suddenly.
