Psalms, Chapter 3:

1. O Lord, how numerous are my adversaries! There are many who rise up against me.
2. There are many who say about me: “God will not save him”.
3. But you, Lord, are my shield, you are my glory and the one who makes me lift my head.
4. I cry out to the Lord with a loud voice, and he answers me from his holy mountain.
5. I lie down and sleep, and wake up again, for it is the Lord who sustains me.
6. I will not fear the thousands who stand against me on every side.
7. Get up, Lord! Save me, my God! Smite all my enemies on the chin; you break the teeth of the wicked!
8. Salvation comes from the Lord; your blessing is upon your people.
