  • 1. Hear, Lord, my prayer, answer my supplication; answer me for your faithfulness, for your justice and mercy.
  • 2. Do not take me to judgment, for before you none is righteous.
  • 3. I feel persecuted by the enemy, crushed to the ground, in distress; I live in the shadows of darkness, like those who have long since perished.
  • 4. My spirit sinks, my panicked heart shakes.
  • 5. I remember times past, I meditate on all your works, I consider the greatness of your hands.
  • 6. I stretch out my hands in search of you; as the dry land cries for water, my soul thirsts to find you.
  • 7. Answer me quickly, O Lord! My spirit faints. Do not hide your face from me, or I will be like those who go down to the grave.
  • 8. In the morning, reveal to me your faithful love, for in you I trust and take refuge. Guide me on the path to follow, to you I elevate my soul and my being.
  • 9. Deliver me from my enemies, Lord, for in you I seek shelter and protection.
  • 10. Teach me to do your will, for you are my God and Lord; May your kind Spirit guide me, on flat and straight ground lead me.
  • 11. For the honor of your name, preserve my life; by your justice, take me out of this distress.
  • 12. With your loyal love, defeat your adversaries, annihilate all enemies, O God, for your servant trusts in your care.
