  • 1. The fool says in his heart: “There is no God.” They corrupted themselves and committed abominable acts; there is no one who does good.
  • 2. The Lord looks down from heaven on the children of men, to see if there are any who have discernment, who seek God.
  • 3. All have gone astray; together they became corrupt; There is no one who does good, there is not even one.
  • 4. Will not all evildoers learn? They devour my people as they eat bread, and do not call on the Lord!
  • 5. Behold, they are terrified, for God is with the righteous generation.
  • 6. You scoff at the plans of the oppressed, but the Lord is your refuge.
  • 7. I hope Israel’s salvation comes from Zion! When the Lord restores his people from captivity, Jacob will rejoice, Israel will be glad!
