  • 1. How happy is he who walks in straight and just paths, who lives in obedience to the law of the Lord!
  • 2. How happy is he who keeps his statutes with all his heart and constantly seeks his will!
  • 3. He does not do evil, but walks in the ways of the Lord.
  • 4. You yourself have established your commandments, so that they may be faithfully followed.
  • 5. Oh, if my steps were firm to fulfill your decrees!
  • 6. Then I would not feel ashamed to reflect on all your commandments.
  • 7. With a sincere heart I will praise you, learning your righteous precepts.
  • 8. I will obey your decrees; never abandon me, Lord.
  • 9. How can a young man remain pure? Living according to your word.
  • 10. With all my heart I seek you; do not let me stray from your commandments.
  • 11. I keep your word in my heart, so as not to sin against you.
  • 12. You are blessed, Lord! Teach me your decrees.
  • 13. With my lips I repeat all the laws you have promulgated.
  • 14. I rejoice to follow your testimonies as one who rejoices in great riches.
  • 15. I will meditate on your precepts and pay attention to your paths.
  • 16. I delight in your decrees; I will not forget your word.
  • 17. Treat your servant kindly, so that I may live and obey your word.
  • 18. Open my eyes that I may behold the wondrous things of your law.
  • 19. I am a pilgrim on earth; do not hide your commandments from me.
  • 20. My soul constantly longs for your precepts.
  • 21. You rebuke the arrogant; Cursed are those who stray from your commandments!
  • 22. Deliver me from shame and contempt, for I obey your statutes.
  • 23. Even if the powerful unite against me, I will still meditate on your decrees.
  • 24. Yes, your testimonies are my delight; they are my advisors.
  • 25. Now I am prostrate in the dust; preserve my life according to your promise.
  • 26. I explained my ways to you and you answered me; teach me your decrees.
  • 27. Make me understand the purpose of your precepts, and then I will meditate on your wonders.
  • 28. My soul is consumed with sadness; Strengthen me according to your promise.
  • 29. Turn me away from deceitful paths; By your grace, teach me your law.
  • 30. Choose the path of fidelity; I decided to follow your commandments.
  • 31. I will hold fast to your testimonies, O Lord; Don't allow me to be disappointed.
  • 32. I will run along the path that your commandments indicate, because you have given me understanding.
  • 33. Teach me, Lord, the way of your decrees, and I will obey them until the end.
  • 34. Give me discernment, so that I may keep your law and obey it with all my heart.
  • 35. Lead me in the path of your commandments, for there I find satisfaction.
  • 36. Incline my heart to your statutes, and not to covetousness.
  • 37. Turn my eyes away from useless things; make me live in the paths you traced.
  • 38. Let your promise be fulfilled to your servant, that you may be feared.
  • 39. Deliver me from the affront that terrifies me, for your ordinances are good.
  • 40. How I long for your precepts! Preserve my life for your justice!
  • 41. Let your unfailing love reach me, O Lord, and your salvation, according to your promise;
  • 42. then I will answer those who insult me, for I trust in your word.
  • 43. Never take the word of truth out of my mouth, for I have placed my hope in your ordinances.
  • 44. I will obey your law constantly, forever and ever.
  • 45. I will walk in true freedom, for I have sought your precepts.
  • 46I will speak of your testimonies before kings, without being ashamed.
  • 47. I delight in your commandments; I love them.
  • 48. To you I lift my hands and meditate on your decrees.
  • 49. Remember your word to your servant, by which you gave me hope.
  • 50. This is my consolation in my suffering: your promise gives me life.
  • 51. The arrogant mock me all the time, but I do not deviate from your law.
  • 52. I remember, Lord, your testimonies of the past, and I find comfort in them.
  • 53. I was filled with great indignation because of the wicked who reject your law.
  • 54. Your decrees are the theme of my song on my pilgrimage.
  • 55. At night I remember your name, Lord! I will keep your law.
  • 56. This has been my practice: to obey your precepts.
  • 57. You are my portion, Lord; I promised to keep your words.
  • 58. With all my heart I beg your grace; have mercy on me, according to your promise.
  • 59. I reflected on my ways and turned my steps to your testimonies.
  • 60. I hurried and did not hesitate to obey your commands.
  • 61. Although the snares of the wicked envelop me, I do not forget your law.
  • 62. At midnight I rise to give thanks to you for your righteous ordinances.
  • 63. I am a friend to all who fear you and obey your precepts.
  • 64. The earth is full of your love, Lord; teach me your decrees.
  • 65. Treat your servant kindly, Lord, according to your promise.
  • 66. Teach me common sense and knowledge, for I trust in your commandments.
  • 67. Before I was corrected, I was wrong, but now I obey your word.
  • 68. You are good, and what you do is good; teach me your decrees.
  • 69. The arrogant have invented lies against me, but I obey your precepts with all my heart.
  • 70. Their hearts are callous, but I delight in your law.
  • 71. It was good for me that I was afflicted, that I might learn Your decrees.
  • 72. Your law is worth more to me than thousands of pieces of gold and silver.
  • 73. Your hands created me and formed me; give me understanding so that I may learn your commandments.
  • 74. May those who fear you see my condition and rejoice, for I have placed my hope in your word.
  • 75. I know, Lord, that your ordinances are righteous, and that in righteousness you have afflicted me.
  • 76. May your love be my comfort, according to your promise to your servant.
  • 77. May your mercy come upon me so that I may have life, for your law is my delight.
  • 78. Let the arrogant be humbled, for they have wronged me unjustly; but I will meditate on your precepts.
  • 79. Let those who fear you come to me, those who understand your statutes.
  • 80. May my heart be upright with your decrees, so that I will not be put to shame.
  • 81. I am exhausted waiting for your salvation, but in your word I have placed my hope.
  • 82. My eyes grow weary from waiting so long for your promise, and I ask: “When will you comfort me?”
  • 83. Even though I am like a shrunken bottle, I do not forget your decrees.
  • 84. How long must your servant wait for you to punish my persecutors?
  • 85. The arrogant have laid a trap for me, those who do not follow your law.
  • 86. All your commandments are trustworthy; help me, for I am persecuted with lies.
  • 87. They almost ended my life on earth, but I did not abandon your precepts.
  • 88. Preserve my life for your sake, and I will keep your decrees.
  • 89. Your word, Lord, is established in heaven forever.
  • 90. Your faithfulness endures for all generations; you established the earth, and it stands.
  • 91. According to your ordinances, everything continues to this day, for everything is at your service.
  • 92. If your law were not my pleasure, suffering would have already destroyed me.
  • 93. I will never forget your precepts, for it is through them that you preserve my life.
  • 94. Save me, for I belong to you and I seek your precepts!
  • 95. The wicked wait for the moment to destroy me, but I consider your testimonies.
  • 96. I realize that every perfection has a limit, but there is no limit to your commandments.
  • 97. How I love your law! I meditate on it all day.
  • 98. Your commandments make me wiser than my enemies, for they are always with me.
  • 99. I have more discernment than all my teachers, because I meditate on your testimonies.
  • 100. I have more understanding than the elders, for I obey your precepts.
  • 101. I turn away from every evil path, to obey your word.
  • 102. I do not stray from your ordinances, for you yourself teach me.
  • 103. How sweet your words are to my taste! More than honey for my mouth!
  • 104. I gain understanding through your precepts; That's why I hate every false path.
  • 105. Your word is a lamp that illuminates my steps and a light that illuminates my path.
  • 106. I promised with an oath and I will fulfill it: I will obey your righteous statutes.
  • 107. I was in great distress; Preserve my life, Lord, according to your word.
  • 108. Accept, O Lord, the offering from my lips, and teach me your statutes.
  • 109. My life is always in danger, but I will not forget your law.
  • 110. The wicked lay traps for me, but I do not stray from your precepts.
  • 111. Your testimonies are my eternal inheritance; They are the joy of my heart.
  • 112. I have set my heart to fulfill your decrees, forever.
  • 113I hate those who are fickle, but I love your law.
  • 114. You are my shelter and my shield; I have placed my hope in you, in your word.
  • 115. Let those who do evil depart from me! I want to obey the commandments of my God!
  • 116. Sustain me according to your promise, and I will live; do not allow my hopes to be dashed.
  • 117. Support me, and I will be safe; I will always be attentive to your decrees.
  • 118. You reject all who stray from Your decrees, for their plans are deceitful and useless.
  • 119. You destroy all the wicked on earth as rubbish; That's why I love your testimonies.
  • 120. My body trembles before you; Your ordinances fill me with fear.
  • 121. I have lived justly and righteously; do not abandon me into the hands of my oppressors.
  • 122. Ensure the well-being of your servant; do not allow the arrogant to oppress me.
  • 123. My eyes fail, awaiting your salvation and the fulfillment of your righteousness.
  • 124. Treat your servant according to your loyal love and teach me your decrees.
  • 125. I am your servant; give me discernment to understand your testimonies.
  • 126. It is time for you to act, Lord, as your law is being disrespected.
  • 127. I love your commandments more than gold, more than refined gold.
  • 128. Therefore I consider your precepts to be righteous and I hate every false path.
  • 129. Your testimonies are wonderful; therefore my soul obeys them.
  • 130. The explanation of your words enlightens and gives discernment to the simple.
  • 131. I open my mouth and sigh, longing for your commandments.
  • 132. Turn to me and have mercy on me, as you always do to those who love your name.
  • 133. Guide my steps according to your word; do not allow any sin to dominate me.
  • 134. Deliver me from the oppression of men, so that I may obey your precepts.
  • 135. Make your face shine upon your servant and teach me your decrees.
  • 136. Rivers of tears flow from my eyes, because your law is not obeyed.
  • 137. You are righteous, Lord, and your judgments are righteous.
  • 138. You have ordered your testimonies fairly and with full fidelity.
  • 139. My zeal consumes me, because my adversaries have forgotten your words.
  • 140. Your promise has been fully proven, and therefore your servant loves it.
  • 141. I am insignificant and despised, but I do not forget your precepts.
  • 142. Your righteousness is everlasting, and your law is truth.
  • 143. Distress and affliction have taken hold of me, but your commandments are my delight.
  • 144. Your testimonies are eternally righteous; give me discernment so that I may live.
  • 145. I cry out with all my heart; Answer me, Lord, and I will obey your statutes!
  • 146. I cry out to you; save me, and I will obey your testimonies!
  • 147. Before dawn I rise and beg your help; I placed my hope in your word.
  • 148. My eyes watch during the watches of the night, to meditate on your word.
  • 149. Hear my voice for your loyal love; Give me life, Lord, according to your righteousness.
  • 150. Those who pursue evil draw near, but they are far from your law.
  • 151. But You, Lord, are near, and all Your commandments are true.
  • 152. I learned long ago from your testimonies that you established them forever.
  • 153. See my affliction and deliver me, for I do not forget your law.
  • 154. Defend my cause and rescue me; preserve my life according to your promise.
  • 155. Salvation is far from the wicked, for they do not seek Your decrees.
  • 156. Great is your compassion, Lord; preserve my life according to your laws.
  • 157. Many are my persecutors and my enemies, but I do not turn away from your testimonies.
  • 158. With great displeasure I see the disbelievers, who do not obey your word.
  • 159. See how I love your precepts! Give me life, Lord, according to your loyal love.
  • 160. The essence of your word is truth, and all your righteous ordinances are eternal.
  • 161. The powerful persecute me for no reason, but it is at your word that my heart trembles.
  • 162. I rejoice in your promise as one who finds great spoils.
  • 163. I hate and detest falsehood, but I love your law.
  • 164. Seven times a day I praise you because of your righteous decrees.
  • 165. Those who love Your law have peace, and nothing will cause them to stumble.
  • 166. I await your salvation, Lord, and I practice your commandments.
  • 167. I obey your testimonies, I love them infinitely!
  • 168. I obey all your precepts and testimonies, for you know all my ways.
  • 169. Let my cry come before you, Lord! Give me understanding according to your word.
  • 170. May my supplication reach you. Deliver me, according to your promise.
  • 171. My lips will overflow with praise, for you teach me your decrees.
  • 172. My tongue will sing your word, for all your commandments are righteous.
  • 173. Use your hand to help me, for I have chosen your precepts.
  • 174. I long for your salvation, Lord, and your law is my delight.
  • 175. Allow me to live so that I may praise you; may your decrees sustain me.
  • 176. I have wandered like a lost sheep; come and seek your servant, for I have not forgotten your commandments.
