Psalms, Chapter 118:

• 1. Give thanks to the Lord, for His goodness is eternal; Your inexhaustible love, without borders, remains forever.
• 2. May Israel fervently proclaim: “His goodness is eternal!”
• 3. Let the priests also raise their voices: “His goodness is eternal!”
• 4. And let all who fear the Lord declare, “His goodness endures forever!”
• 5. In moments of distress, I cried out to the Lord; He listened to me and gave me full freedom.
• 6. With the Lord by my side, I will not fear. For what can men do against me?
• 7. The Lord is my support and defender; I will see the defeat of my enemies.
• 8. It is safer to seek refuge in the Lord Than to blindly trust in men.
• 9. It is safer to seek refuge in the Lord Than to trust in powerful rulers.
• 10. All the nations surrounded me with fury, But in the name of the Lord I overcame them.
• 11. They surrounded me on all sides, But in the name of the Lord I overcame them.
• 12. They attacked me like a swarm of bees, But they soon extinguished themselves like thorn bushes on fire. In the name of the Lord I overcame them!
• 13. They pushed me, trying to make me fall, But the Lord supported me.
• 14. He is my strength and song, My salvation in whom I trust.
• 15. In the tabernacles of the righteous, joyful praises echo: “The right hand of the Lord does great things!
• 16. The right hand of the Lord is exalted! The right hand of the Lord manifests power!”
• 17. I will not die; but I will remain alive, To proclaim the greatness of the Lord.
• 18. He corrected me severely, But he did not hand me over to death.
• 19. Let the doors of justice be opened, for I desire to enter, To give thanks to the Lord.
• 20. This is the gate of the Lord, Where the righteous enter in rejoicing.
• 21. I thank You, O Lord, for answering me, For being my salvation.
• 22. The stone that the builders rejected, Has become the cornerstone, firm and precious.
• 23. It was the Lord who determined this, And it is wonderful for our eyes to behold.
• 24. This is the day that the Lord has made; In Him we will rejoice and exult.
• 25. O Lord, grant us victory, we beg You; O Lord, give us prosperity, we beg.
• 26. Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord; From the House of the Lord we bless you.
• 27. The Lord is God, And His light illuminates all our path. Join the festive procession, Carrying branches to the ends of the altar.
• 28. You are my God, I will give thanks to You! O my God, I will exalt You with joy!
• 29. Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good; Your never-ending, never-ending love endures forever.
