  • 1. Not to us, Lord, no glory to us, but to your name, for your love and for your faithfulness!
  • 2. Why do the nations ask, “Where is their God?”
  • 3. Our God is in heaven, and can do whatever he pleases.
  • 4. Their idols, of silver and gold, are made by human hands.
  • 16. They have a mouth, but they cannot speak; eyes, but they cannot see.
  • 6. they have ears, but they cannot hear; nose, but cannot smell;
  • 7. they have hands, but they can feel nothing; feet, but cannot walk; and they do not make any sound with their throat.
  • 8. Let those who make them and all who trust in them become like them.
  • 9. Trust in the Lord, O Israel! He is your help and your shield.
  • 10. Trust in the Lord, priests! He is your help and your shield.
  • 11. You who fear the Lord, trust in the Lord! He is your help and your shield.
  • 12. The Lord remembers us and will bless us; he will bless the Israelites, he will bless the priests,
  • 13. will bless those who fear the Lord, from the least to the greatest.
  • 14. May the Lord multiply you, you and your children.
  • 15May you be blessed by the Lord, who made the heavens and the earth.
  • 16. The highest heavens belong to the Lord, but the earth he has entrusted to man.
  • 17. The dead do not praise the Lord, nor do any of those who descend into silence.
  • 18. But we will bless the Lord, from now on and forever! Hallelujah!
