Psalms, Chapter 1:

Verses from Psalms, Chapter 1 of the book of Psalms in the Bible.

1. How happy is he who does not follow the advice of the wicked, nor enter into the ways of sinners, nor sit in the assembly of mockers!
2. Instead, his joy is in the law of the Lord, and he meditates on this law day and night.
3. He is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in due season, and its leaves do not wither. Everything he does prospers!
4. Not so with the wicked! They are like straw that the wind disperses.
5. Therefore the wicked will not stand in judgment, neither will sinners in the congregation of the righteous.
6. For the Lord knows the way of the righteous, but the way of the wicked leads to ruin!
