- 2. My help comes from the Lord, who created the heavens and the earth.
- 3. He will not let you stumble; your guardian will remain vigilant,
- 4. yes, the guardian of Israel does not sleep; he is always vigilant!
- 5. The Lord is your guardian; like a shadow that protects you, he is on your right.
- 6. During the day the sun will not harm you; nor the moon, at night.
- 7. The Lord will keep you from all evil, he will preserve your life.
- 8. The Lord will guard your departure and your arrival, from now on and forever.
