- 1. Give me justice, O God, and defend my cause against those who betray; deliver me from those who are false and corrupt.
- 2. For you, O God, are my refuge. Why did you leave me? Why should I walk in mourning, oppressed by my enemies?
- 3. Send your light and your truth; May they guide me and lead me to your holy mountain, to the place where you live.
- 4. Then I will go to the altar of God, to the God who is my greatest joy. With my voice and with instruments, I will praise you, O God, my God!
- 5. Why are you so cast down, O my soul? Why are you so upset inside me? Put your hope in God! For I will still praise him; he is my Savior and my God.
