Psalms, Chapter 30:
publicidad
Verses from Psalms, Chapter 30 of the book of Psalms in the Bible.
- 1. I will exalt you, Lord, for you raised me up and did not allow my enemies to rejoice at my expense.
- 2. Lord, I cried out to you for help, and you healed me.
- 3. Lord, you took my soul from the grave; you preserved me alive so that I would not descend into the abyss.
- 4. Sing praises to the Lord, you his faithful ones; praise his holy name.
- 5. For his wrath lasts but a moment, but his favor endures for life; crying may persist through the night, but joy comes in the morning.
- 6. When I felt safe, I declared, “I will never be shaken!”
- 7. O Lord, with your goodness you have made me as strong as a mountain; but when you hid your face, I was terrified.
- 8. To you, Lord, I cried out, to the Lord I asked for mercy:
- 9. “What advantage is there in my death, in going down to the grave? Can the dust praise you? Can you proclaim your fidelity?
- 10. Hear, Lord, and have mercy on me; Lord, be my help.”
- 11. You turned my crying into dancing; You took away my clothes of mourning and clothed me with joy,
- 12. so that my heart can praise you and never be silent. O Lord, my God, I will thank you forever.
