  • 1. And thou shalt make the tabernacle with ten curtains of fine twined linen, and purple, and scarlet, and fine stuff: with cherubims of cunning work shall they be made.
  • 2. The length of one curtain shall be twenty-eight cubits, and the width of one curtain four cubits; All curtains will have the same size.
  • 3. Five curtains will be coupled with each other, and another five curtains will also be coupled with each other.
  • 4. And you shall make loops of blue stuff on the edge of the curtain at one end at the first coupling; and so shalt thou do on the edge of the curtain at the end of the second coupling.
  • 5. Fifty loops you shall make on the first curtain, and fifty loops you shall make on the edge of the curtain that is in the second coupling; the handles will face each other.
  • 6. You shall also make fifty gold clasps, and fasten the curtains together with the clasps; This is how the tabernacle will be made.
  • 7. You shall also make curtains of goats' hair to serve as a tent over the tabernacle; eleven curtains thou shalt make.
  • 8. The length of one curtain shall be thirty cubits, and the width of one curtain four cubits; the eleven curtains will have the same measure.
  • 9. And you shall attach five curtains to the side, and six curtains you shall attach to the other part, and you shall fold the sixth curtain in front of the tent.
  • 10. You shall also make fifty loops on the edge of the curtain that is on the last coupling, and fifty loops on the edge of the curtain on the other coupling.
  • 11. And thou shalt make fifty clasps of brass, and put the clasps into the loops, and fasten the tent together, that it may be one.
  • 12. And whatever remains on the curtains of the tent, half of the curtain that remains, that is what is left over the back of the tabernacle.
  • 13. And the cubit on the one side, and the cubit on the other side of what is left on the curtains of the tent, shall hang along the sides of the tabernacle, on this side and on that side, to cover it.
  • 14. You shall also make a covering for the tent of sheepskins dyed red, and on top of that a covering of badgers' skins.
  • 15. You shall also make boards for the tabernacle of satin wood, which will stand upright.
  • 16. The length of a board shall be ten cubits, and the width of a board shall be one and a half cubits.
  • 17. There will be two hands on a board, one against the other; This is what you will do with all the boards of the tabernacle.
  • 18. You shall make the boards of the tabernacle; twenty boards for the south side, for the south side.
  • 19. And thou shalt make forty sockets of silver under the twenty boards; two bases under one board, for his two hands, and two bases under another board, for his two hands.
  • 20. And for the second side of the tabernacle, for the north side, twenty boards.
  • 21. And its forty sockets of silver; two bases under one board, and two bases under another board.
  • 22. And for the side of the tabernacle, toward the west, you shall make six boards.
  • 23. And you shall make two boards for the corners of the tabernacle on the back side.
  • 24. And they will come together from below, and so they will come together in one piece; This is what will be done with the two boards; they will both be for both corners.
  • 25. So then there will be eight tables, and their bases of silver; sixteen bases; two bases under one board, and two bases under another board.
  • 26. You shall also make five beams of satin wood for the boards on one side of the tabernacle,
  • 27. and five beams for the boards on the other side of the tabernacle, and five beams for the boards on the side of the tabernacle, for the second side of the tabernacle, on the west.
  • 28. And the middle beam will go through the middle of the boards from one end to the other.
  • 29. And thou shalt overlay the boards with gold, and make for them rings of gold, to hold the beams; You shall also cover the beams with gold.
  • 30. And you shall set up the tabernacle according to its pattern, which was shown to you in the mountain.
  • 31. You shall also make a veil of purple, and of crimson, and of fine twined linen, and of cherubim stuff; with a masterpiece craftsman it will be done.
  • 32. And you shall set it upon four pillars of satin wood overlaid with gold; their clasps shall be of gold, upon which thou shalt set four sockets of silver.
  • 33. And thou shalt hang the veil under the clasps, and thou shalt put the ark of the testimony there within the veil; and this veil will separate you between the holy place and the most holy place.
  • 34. And thou shalt put the covering of the mercy seat upon the ark of the testimony in the most holy place.
  • 35. And you shall set the table outside the veil, and the lampstand in front of the table, on the side of the southern tabernacle; and you shall set the table on the north side.
  • 36. And thou shalt make for the door of the tent a hanging of purple, and of crimson, and of fine twined linen, like the work of an embroiderer.
  • 37. And for this curtain thou shalt make five pillars of satin wood, and overlay them with gold, and their clasps shall be of gold; and you shall cast for them five bases of bronze.
