Psalms, Chapter 94:

• 1. O Lord, avenging God; Avenging God! Intervene!
• 2. Rise up, Judge of the earth; Repay the proud their due.
• 3. How long, Lord, will the wicked triumph? How long will evildoers rejoice?
• 4. They speak arrogant words; all the wicked boast.
• 5. They oppress your people, O Lord, and afflict your inheritance.
• 6. They kill widows and foreigners, they murder orphans.
• 7. And they still say: “The Lord does not see us; the God of Jacob does not understand.”
• 8. Fools, understand! O foolish ones, when will you attain wisdom?
• 9. He who formed the ear, does he not hear? He who shaped the eye, does not see?
• 10. Will he who disciplines the nations not rebuke? He who teaches man knowledge, will he not have understanding?
• 11. The Lord knows the thoughts of man, he recognizes that they are vain.
• 12. How blessed is the man whom you correct, O Lord, and whom you teach your law;
• 13. that he may have peace in the days of adversity, while a pit is dug for the wicked.
• 14. The Lord will not forsake his people, nor forsake his inheritance.
• 15. Justice will once again be proclaimed in the judgments, and all the upright in heart will follow it.
• 16. Who will stand up for me against the wicked? Who will be by my side against evildoers?
• 17. If the Lord had not helped me, I would already be dwelling in the silent regions.
• 18. When I said, “My feet are wavering,” your loyal love, O Lord, sustained me!
• 19. When anxiety gripped me, your comfort brought relief to my soul.
• 20. Will corruption have an alliance with you, O throne that does injustice in the name of the law?
• 21. They conspire against the lives of the righteous, and put the innocent to death.
• 22. But the Lord is my safe refuge; my God is the rock in which I find shelter.
• 23. God will bring upon them their own iniquity, and will destroy them because of their sins; the Lord our God will exterminate them.
