- 1. How wonderful it is to offer gratitude to the Lord and sing praises to your name, O Most High;
- 2. Proclaim your faithful love in the morning and your constant faithfulness at night,
- 3. to the sound of stringed instruments and beautiful melodies, accompanied by the harp and the ten-string lyre.
- 4. You fill me with joy, Lord, with your works; the works of your hands make me sing for joy.
- 5. How great are your works, O Lord, how deep are your purposes!
- 6. A fool does not understand, a fool does not understand,
- 7. that even if the wicked flourish like grass and all evildoers prosper, they will be destroyed forever.
- 8. You, Lord, remain exalted forever.
- 9. As for your enemies, Lord, they will be annihilated; all evildoers will be scattered!
- 10. You strengthen me like a wild bull; You pour the anointing oil on me.
- 11. My eyes behold the defeat of my enemies; my ears hear the fall of evildoers who attack me.
- 12. The righteous will flourish like the palm tree, they will grow like the cedar of Lebanon;
- 13. planted in the house of the Lord, they will flourish in the courts of our God.
- 14. In old age they will still bear fruit, they will be full of vigor and green,
- 15. to declare that the Lord is righteous. He is my Rock; there is no injustice in him.
