  • 1. Incline your ear, O Lord, and answer me, for I am poor and needy.
  • 2. Preserve my life, for I am faithful; save your servant who trusts in you.
  • 3. Mercy, O Lord, for I cry to you without ceasing.
  • 4. Rejoice the soul of your servant, for to you, Lord, I lift up my soul.
  • 5. For you, Lord, are good and forgiving, rich in love to all who call on you.
  • 6. Listen, Lord, to my prayer; hear my plea in favor of your faithfulness; answer me, in your righteousness.
  • 7. In the day of my distress I will cry out to you, for you answer me.
  • 8. Among the gods there is none like you, Lord; There are no works that compare to yours.
  • 9. All the nations that you have formed will come and worship you, Lord, and will glorify your name.
  • 10. For you are great and do wonderful things; only you are God.
  • 11. Teach me your way, Lord, that I may walk in your truth; give me an entirely faithful heart, so that I may fear your name.
  • 12. With all my heart I will praise you, Lord my God; I will glorify your name forever.
  • 13. For great is your love towards me; you delivered me from the depths of Sheol.
  • 14. O God, the arrogant have risen up against me; a band of violent men have tried to take my life; they don't have you in front of their eyes.
  • 15. But you, Lord, are a compassionate and merciful God, patient and abounding in love and faithfulness.
  • 16. Turn to me and have mercy on me; grant your strength to your servant and save the son of your servant.
  • 17. Give me a sign of your favor, so that my enemies may see and be humbled, for you, Lord, have helped me and comforted me.
