  • 1. Shout to God, all peoples of the earth!
  • 2. Sing praises to his glorious name; praise him with great exaltation!
  • 3. Say to God: “How wonderful are your works! So immense is your power that your enemies bow before you!
  • 4. The whole earth worships you and sings songs in your praise, they sing praises to your name.”
  • 5. Come and see what God has done; how impressive are his works in behalf of men!
  • 6. He turned the sea into dry land, and the people crossed on foot; there we rejoice in him.
  • 7. He rules forever with his power, his eyes watch over the nations; May the rebels not rise up against him!
  • 8. Bless our God, O peoples, let the sound of his praise resound;
  • 9. it was he who preserved our lives and did not allow our feet to slip.
  • 10. For you, O God, have tested us and refined us like silver.
  • 11. You have led us into snares and placed burdens on our backs.
  • 12. You allowed them to ride on us, we passed through fire and water, but you brought us to a place of plenty.
  • 13. I will come to your temple with burnt offerings and fulfill the vows I made to you,
  • 14. which my lips uttered and my mouth promised when I was in distress.
  • 15. I will offer you fattened animals as a burnt offering; I will sacrifice rams and bulls, and the smoke will come up to you along with the goats.
  • 16. Come and listen, all you who fear God; I will tell them what he did for me.
  • 17. To him I cried with my mouth; I exalted him with my tongue.
  • 18. If I had harbored sin in my heart, the Lord would not have listened to me;
  • 19. but God heard me, he answered my prayer.
  • 20. Blessed be God, who has not rejected my prayer nor removed his love from me!
