Psalms - Old Testament
Psalms – Old Testament
  • 1. In deepest longing, I call upon the Lord; I raise my pleading voice to the Most High, begging His infinite mercy.
  • 2. Before Him, I pour out my tears; I present all my anxieties to Him.
  • 3. When my spirit weakens, It is You, Lord, who knows the path I must follow. On the path I walk, Hidden traps threaten me.
  • 4. I look to the right and understand; Nobody cares about me. I find no safe shelter; Nobody cares about my life.
  • 5. I cry out to You, Lord, I declare: You are my refuge; You are all I have in this earthly life.
  • 6. Heed my cry, For I am extremely downcast; Free me from those who persecute me, For they are more powerful than me.
  • 7. Free me from oppression, And I will give you eternal thanks. Then the righteous will approach me, Driven by Your immense kindness towards me.
