• 1. Lord, my heart is not filled with pride, nor are my eyes lifted up in arrogance. I do not seek great matters or wonders beyond my reach.
• 2. On the contrary, I calmed and quieted my soul. I am like a peaceful child in its mother's arms; my soul is serene and confident.
• 3. Trust in the Lord, O Israel, from now on and forever!
