• 1. Those who trust in the Lord are like Mount Zion, which cannot be shaken but stands firm forever.
• 2. As the mountains surround Jerusalem, so the Lord protects his people, from now on and forever.
• 3. The scepter of the wicked will not prevail over the land given to the righteous; otherwise, the righteous would surrender to injustice.
• 4. Lord, treat with kindness those who do good, those who have upright hearts.
• 5. But on those who stray into crooked paths, the Lord will inflict the punishment of evildoers. May there be peace in Israel!
