Leviticus, Chapter 1:
publicidad
Verses from Leviticus, Chapter 1 of the book of Leviticus in the Bible.
- 1. And the Lord called unto Moses, and spake unto him out of the tabernacle of the congregation, saying,
- 2. Speak to the children of Israel, and say to them: When any of you brings an offering to the Lord, he shall bring his offering of animals, of the herd or of the flock.
- 3. If his offering is a burnt offering of the herd, he shall offer a male without blemish; he shall offer it of his own free will before the Lord at the door of the tent of meeting.
- 4. And he shall lay his hand upon the head of the burnt offering, that it may be accepted for him, for his atonement.
- 5. Then he shall slaughter the bull before the Lord; and Aaron's sons, the priests, shall offer the blood and sprinkle the blood all around on the altar that is at the door of the tent of meeting.
- 6. And he will skin the burnt offering, and break it into its pieces.
- 7. And the sons of Aaron the priest shall put fire on the altar, and on the wood that is on the altar.
- 8. And Aaron's sons, the priests, shall lay the pieces, the head and the fat, in order upon the wood that is on the altar,
- 9. But he shall wash his entrails and his legs with water, and the priest shall burn all of it on the altar: it is a burnt offering, an offering made by fire, of a sweet savour unto the LORD.
- 10. And if his offering be of the flock, of the herd, or of the sheep, for a burnt offering, or for a sacrifice, or in fulfilling a vow, or for peace offerings; he shall offer a male without blemish.
- 11. And he shall kill it at the north side of the altar before the LORD: and Aaron's sons the priests shall sprinkle the blood round about upon the altar.
- 12. And he shall cut it into pieces, with its head and its fat: and the priest shall lay them in order on the wood that is on the altar:
- 13. But he shall wash the entrails and the legs with water; and the priest shall offer all of it, and burn it on the altar: it is a burnt offering, an offering made by fire, of a sweet savour unto the LORD.
- 14. And if his offering to the Lord is a burnt offering of birds, then he shall offer his offering of turtledoves or of young pigeons.
- 15. And the priest shall bring it unto the altar, and shall cut off its head, and burn it upon the altar: and the blood thereof shall be wrung out upon the side of the altar.
- 16. And he shall pluck out its crop with its feather, and cast it beside the altar eastward, into the place of ashes.
- 17. And he shall split it along its wings, but shall not break it completely; and the priest shall burn it on the altar, on the wood that is on the fire: it is a burnt offering, an offering made by fire, of a sweet aroma to the Lord.
