  • 1. I love the Lord, because He listened to me when I raised my pleading voice to Him.
  • 2. With your ears attentive to me, I will call on Him throughout my life.
  • 3. The ropes of death enveloped me, anguish and sorrow came upon me; affliction and pain dominated me.
  • 4. Then I called on the name of the Lord: “Save me, O Lord!”
  • 5. Compassionate and just is the Lord, our God is full of compassion.
  • 6. The Lord keeps the simple; When I found myself without strength, He delivered me.
  • 7. O my soul, return to your rest, for the Lord has been good to you.
  • 8. He rescued my life from death, my eyes from tears, and my feet from stumbling.
  • 9. I will walk before the Lord in the land of the living.
  • 10. Even though I said in my despair: “I am extremely distressed!”
  • 11. In my agitation, I declared, “I can’t trust anyone!”
  • 12. But how can I repay the Lord for all His kindness to me?
  • 13. I will lift up the cup of salvation and call on the name of the Lord.
  • 14. I will fulfill my vows to the Lord before all His people.
  • 15. Precious in the eyes of the Lord is the death of His faithful ones.
  • 16. O Lord, I am Your servant, yes, I am Your servant, the son of Your servant; You broke the chains that imprisoned me.
  • 17. I will offer You a sacrifice of gratitude and call on the name of the Lord.
  • 18. I will fulfill my vows to the Lord before all His people,
  • 19. in the courts of the house of the Lord, in the midst of you, O Jerusalem! Hallelujah!
