Verses from Psalms, Chapter 91 of the book of Psalms in the Bible.
- 1. He who seeks refuge in the Most High, and rests in the shadow of the Almighty,
- 2. You can declare to the Lord: “You are my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust completely.”
- 3. He will free me from the hunter's snares and deadly poison.
- 4. He will envelop me with his wings, and under them I will find shelter; Your faithfulness will be my protective shield.
- 5. I will not fear the terror of the night, nor the arrow that flies by day,
- 6. Neither the disease that spreads in the darkness, nor the plague that strikes at midday.
- 7. Though a thousand fall at my side, and ten thousand at my right, nothing will touch me.
- 8. I will only observe with my eyes, and I will see the punishment of the wicked.
- 9. For I have made the Most High my refuge, the Lord my safe haven.
- 10. No evil will come upon me, no misfortune will come near my tent.
- 11. For the angels of the Lord have been commanded to protect me in all my ways;
- 12. They will support me with their hands, lest I dash my foot against a stone.
- 13. I will trample on lions and serpents; I will crush the fierce lion and the poisonous serpent.
- 14. “Because he loves me, I will rescue him; I will protect him, for he knows my name.
- 15. He will call on me, and I will answer him, and I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him and honor him.
- 16. I will give him long life, and I will show him my salvation.”
