- 1. Do not rebuke me, Lord, in your anger, nor discipline me in your wrath.
- 2. Have mercy on me, Lord, for I faint; Heal me, Lord, for my bones are shaken.
- 3. My soul is also deeply troubled; but you, Lord, how long?
- 4. Return, Lord, deliver my soul; save me by your mercy.
- 5. For among the dead there is no memory of you; in the tomb, who will give you praise?
- 6. I'm tired of moaning so much; every night I make my bed swim in tears; I flood my bed with tears.
- 7. My eyes are consumed with sadness; They withered away because of all my enemies.
- 8. Let all those who practice iniquity depart from me, for the Lord has heard the sound of my weeping.
- 9. The Lord has heard my prayer; the Lord welcomes my prayer.
- 10. All my enemies will be ashamed and disturbed; they will fall back and be covered with shame suddenly.
