Verses from Psalms, Chapter 32 of the book of Psalms in the Bible.
- 1. How blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered!
- 2. How happy is he to whom the Lord imputes no iniquity and in whose spirit there is no deceit!
- 3. While I kept my sins secret, my body wasted away from groaning.
- 4. For day and night your hand was heavy upon me; my strength was exhausted as in a time of drought.
- 5. Then I acknowledged my sin before you, and I did not cover up my iniquities. I said, “I will confess my transgressions to the Lord,” and you forgave the guilt of my sin.
- 6. Therefore let all who are pious pray to thee while thou mayest be found; certainly, when the many waters break out, they will not reach him.
- 7. You are my hiding place; you preserve me from distress; with songs of deliverance you surround me.
- 8. I will instruct you and teach you the way you should go; I will guide you with my eyes.
- 9. Do not be like a horse or an ass, which have no understanding; with bridles and halters their momentum is controlled; otherwise, they are not subject.
- 10. Many are the sorrows of the wicked, but he who trusts in the Lord, mercy surrounds him.
- 11. Rejoice in the Lord and be glad, O righteous ones! Sing for joy, all you who are upright in heart!
