- 1. To you, Lord, I lift my soul.
- 2. In you I trust, O my God. May I not be humiliated, and may my enemies not triumph over me!
- 3. None of those who hope in you will be put to shame; Those who act treacherously without reason will suffer shame.
- 4. Show me, Lord, your ways, teach me your paths.
- 5. Guide me in your truth and teach me, for you are the God of my salvation; in you I wait all day.
- 6. Remember, Lord, your compassion and your loyal love, for they have existed since ancient times.
- 7. Do not remember the sins of my youth nor my transgressions; according to your mercy, remember me, because of your love, O Lord.
- 8. Good and just is the Lord; That's why he shows the way to sinners.
- 9. Guide the humble in righteousness and teach them your way.
- 10. All the ways of the Lord are love and faithfulness to those who keep his covenant and his testimonies.
- 11. For your name's sake, Lord, forgive my iniquity, for it is great.
- 12. Who is the man who fears the Lord? He will instruct you in the path you should follow.
- 13. He will live in prosperity, and his descendants will inherit the land.
- 14. The Lord entrusts his secrets to those who fear him, and makes his covenant known to them.
- 15. My eyes are always on the Lord, for he takes my feet out of the trap.
- 16. Turn to me and have mercy on me, for I am lonely and afflicted.
- 17. The anguish of my heart has multiplied; take me out of my troubles.
- 18. See my affliction and my suffering and forgive all my sins.
- 19. Look how numerous my enemies are, how violently they hate me!
- 20. Guard my soul and deliver me! Do not let me be put to shame, for I take refuge in you.
- 21. May integrity and righteousness protect me, for I have hoped in you.
- 22. O God, redeem Israel from all her troubles!
