Verses from Psalms, Chapter 16 of the book of Psalms in the Bible.

1. Protect me, O God, for in you I find refuge.
2. I say to the Lord: “You are my Lord; I have no possessions besides you.”
3. As for the saints who are on earth, in them is all my joy.
4. Those who run after other gods will have a lot of problems. I will not spill their blood offerings, nor pronounce their names with my lips.
5. Lord, you are my portion and my cup; you hold my destiny.
6. My borders have fallen into pleasant places; I have a wonderful inheritance!
7. I will bless the Lord, who advises me; even during the night my heart instructs me.
8. I always have the Lord before me. He is at my right hand, so I will not be shaken.
9. Therefore my heart rejoices and my soul rejoices; until my body rests safe,
10. for you will not abandon me to the tomb, nor will you allow your saint to suffer decay.
11. You will make known to me the path of life; in your presence is fullness of joy, and at your right hand are pleasures forever.
