  • 5. Lord, you are my portion and my cup; you hold my destiny.
  • 6. My borders have fallen into pleasant places; I have a wonderful inheritance!
  • 7. I will bless the Lord, who advises me; even during the night my heart instructs me.
  • 8. I always have the Lord before me. He is at my right hand, so I will not be shaken.
  • 9. Therefore my heart rejoices and my soul rejoices; until my body rests safe,
  • 10. for you will not abandon me to the tomb, nor will you allow your saint to suffer decay.
  • 11. You will make known to me the path of life; in your presence is fullness of joy, and at your right hand are pleasures forever.
