- 1. Until when, Lord? Will you forget me forever? How long will you hide your face from me?
- 2. How long will I have worries and sadness in my heart day after day? How long will my enemy triumph over me?
- 3. Look at me and answer, Lord, my God. Enlighten my eyes, or else I will sleep the sleep of death;
- 4. My enemies will say, “I have prevailed against him,” and my adversaries will rejoice in my failure.
- 5. I, however, trust in your love; my heart rejoices in your salvation.
- 6. I will sing to the Lord, for he has been good to me.
