- 1. In the Lord I find refuge. Why then do you say to me, “Flee to the mountains like a bird”?
- 2. See! The wicked prepare their bows; They put the arrows on the strings to shoot the upright in heart.
- 3. When the foundations are being destroyed, what can the righteous do?
- 4. The Lord is in his holy temple; the Lord has his throne in the heavens. Your eyes watch; their eyes search the children of men.
- 5. The Lord tests the righteous, but his soul hates the wicked and those who love unrighteousness.
- 6. On the wicked he will rain burning coals and sulfur; stormy wind will be their portion.
- 7. For the Lord is just and loves justice; the upright will behold his face.
