- 1. Better is a poor man who lives with integrity than a fool who speaks perversely.
- 2. It is not good to have zeal without knowledge, nor to be hasty and lose the way.
- 3. It is a man's folly that ruins his life, but his heart is angry with the Lord.
- 4. Wealth brings many friends, but even a poor man's friend abandons him.
- 5. A false witness will not go unpunished, and he who tells lies will not go free.
- 6. Many flatter the ruler, and everyone is friends with the one who gives gifts.
- 7. The poor are despised by all their relatives, let alone their friends! Although he looks for them to ask for help, he can't find them anywhere.
- 8. Whoever gains wisdom loves himself; whoever cherishes understanding prospers.
- 9. A false witness will not go unpunished, and he who speaks lies will perish.
- 10. It is not good for a fool to live in luxury; how much worse is it for a servant to dominate princes!
- 11. A man's wisdom gives him patience; his glory is to ignore offenses.
- 12. The king's anger is like the roar of a lion, but his kindness is like dew on the grass.
- 13. A foolish son is his father's ruin, and a quarrelsome wife is like a constant leak.
- 14. Houses and wealth are inherited from parents, but a wise wife comes from the Lord.
- 15. Laziness leads to deep sleep, and the lazy person goes hungry.
- 16. Whoever obeys the commandments preserves his life, but whoever despises his ways will die.
- 17. Whoever treats the poor well lends to the Lord, and he will reward him.
- 18. Discipline your child, for in that there is hope; Don't want his death.
- 19. A man with a difficult temper needs punishment; if you save it, you will have to save it again.
- 20. Listen to advice and accept instructions, and you will end up being wise.
- 21. Many are the plans in the heart of man, but what prevails is the Lord's purpose.
- 22. What you want to see in a man is perennial love; It is better to be poor than a liar.
- 23. The fear of the Lord leads to life: whoever fears him can rest in peace, free from problems.
- 24. The lazy person puts his hand on his plate and doesn't bother to bring it to his mouth!
- 25. Scourge the scoffer, and the inexperienced will learn prudence; rebuke the man of discernment, and he will obtain knowledge.
- 26. A son who steals from his father and drives out his mother causes shame and dishonor.
- 27. If you stop listening to instruction, my son, you will turn away from the words that give knowledge.
- 28. A corrupt witness mocks justice, and the mouth of the wicked hungers for iniquity.
- 29. Punishments are prepared for mockers, and stripes for the backs of fools.
