Number Verses, Chapter 29 of the Bible's book of Numbers.
The Feast of Trumpets
- 1. “In the seventh month, on the first day of the month, hold a sacred meeting. Do not do any work. It is the day of blowing the trumpets for you.
- 2. Offer a burnt offering, an offering prepared by fire, with a pleasing aroma to the Lord: a bull, a ram and seven lambs a year old, all without blemish.
- 3. The grain offering will be three-tenths of an ephah of fine flour mixed with oil, like an offering prepared by fire, with an aroma pleasing to the Lord, and the respective offering poured out of half a hin of wine.
- 4. Furthermore, offer a goat as a sin offering to make atonement for you.
- 5. “'On the tenth day of the seventh month hold a sacred meeting. Humble yourselves before the Lord, do no work.
- 6. Offer a burnt offering to the Lord: a bull, a ram and seven one-year-old lambs, all without blemish.
The day of atonement
- 7. The grain offering will be three-tenths of an ephah of fine flour mixed with oil, like an offering prepared by fire, with an aroma pleasing to the Lord, and the respective offering poured out of half a hin of wine.
- 8. Also offer a goat as a sin offering, to make atonement for you.
- 9. “'On the fifteenth day of the seventh month, celebrate the festival of booths to the Lord for seven days.
- 10. On the first day hold a sacred meeting. Do not do any work.
- 11. Offer as a burnt offering to the Lord: thirteen bulls, two rams and fourteen one-year-old lambs, all without blemish.
The Feast of Tabernacles
- 12. The grain offering will be three-tenths of an ephah of fine flour mixed with oil for each bull, two-tenths for each ram
- 13. and a tenth for each lamb of a year old, for each of the fourteen lambs.
- 14. Also offer one goat as a sin offering, in addition to the continuous burnt offering with its grain offering and its spill offering.
- 15. “‘On the second day offer twelve bulls, two rams and fourteen one-year-old lambs, all without blemish,
- 16. together with the respective grain offering and the respective spilled offering.
- 17. Also offer one goat as a sin offering, in addition to the continuous burnt offering with its grain offering and its spill offering.
- 18. "'On the third day offer eleven bulls, two rams and fourteen one-year-old lambs, all without blemish,
- 19. together with the respective grain offering and the respective spilled offering.
- 20. Also offer one goat as a sin offering, in addition to the continuous burnt offering with its grain offering and its spill offering.
- 21. "'On the fourth day offer ten bulls, two rams and fourteen one-year-old lambs, all without blemish,
- 22. together with the respective grain offering and the respective spilled offering.
- 23. Also offer one goat as a sin offering, in addition to the continuous burnt offering with its grain offering and its spill offering.
- 24. "'On the fifth day offer nine bulls, two rams and fourteen one-year-old lambs, all without blemish,
- 25. together with the respective grain offering and the respective spilled offering.
- 26. Also offer one goat as a sin offering, in addition to the continuous burnt offering with its grain offering and its spill offering.
- 27. "'On the sixth day offer eight bulls, two rams and fourteen one-year-old lambs, all without blemish,
- 28. together with the respective grain offering and the respective spilled offering.
- 29. Also offer one goat as a sin offering, in addition to the continuous burnt offering with its grain offering and its spill offering.
- 30. “‘On the seventh day offer seven bulls, two rams and fourteen one-year-old lambs, all without blemish,
- 31. together with the respective grain offering and the respective spilled offering.
- 32. Also offer one goat as a sin offering, in addition to the continuous burnt offering with its grain offering and its spill offering.
- 33. “'On the eighth day hold a solemn meeting. Do not do any work.
- 34. Offer as a burnt offering to the Lord: a bull, a ram and seven one-year-old lambs, all without blemish.
- 35. The grain offering will be three-tenths of an ephah of fine flour mixed with oil, like an offering prepared by fire, with an aroma pleasing to the Lord, and the respective offering poured out of half a hin of wine.
- 36. Also offer one goat as a sin offering, in addition to the continuous burnt offering with its grain offering and its spill offering.
- 37. ” 'These are the burnt offerings, the grain offerings, the water offerings, and the sacrifices that you will offer to the Lord in the appointed place. It is the continuous burnt offering, which will be offered in addition to the special offerings related to the vows and freewill offerings that you give to the Lord.
- 38. ” 'On the fifteenth day of the seventh month, celebrate a festival in honor of the Lord for seven days. Hold a solemn meeting, and do no work.
- 39. Offer as a burnt offering to the Lord a fire prepared with thirteen bulls, two rams and fourteen one-year-old lambs, all without blemish.
- 40. The respective grain offering will be three-tenths of an ephah of fine flour mixed with oil, like an offering prepared by fire, with an aroma pleasing to the Lord. And the offering thereof shall be half a hin of wine for each bull, and a third of a hin for each ram.
