  • 1. And it came to pass on the eighth day, that Moses called Aaron, and his sons, and the elders of Israel.
  • 2. And he said unto Aaron, Take a bull for a sin offering, and a ram for a burnt offering, both without blemish, and offer them before the Lord.
  • 3. And speak unto the children of Israel, saying, Take a goat for a sin offering, and a calf and a lamb, both a year old and without blemish, for a burnt offering.
  • 4. And an ox and a ram, for a peace offering, to offer before the Lord; and an offering of food mixed with oil; for today the Lord will appear to you.
  • 5. And they took what Moses had commanded before the tent of meeting; and the whole congregation came, and stood before the Lord.
  • 6. Then Moses said, This is the thing which the Lord commanded you to do; and the glory of the Lord will appear to you.
  • 7. And Moses said unto Aaron, Come near unto the altar, and make your sin offering, and your burnt offering, and make an atonement for yourself and for the people; and offer the people an offering, and make atonement for them, as the Lord has commanded.
  • 8. And Aaron came to the altar, and slaughtered the calf of atonement, which was for himself.
  • 9. And Aaron's sons presented the blood to him; and he dipped his finger in the blood, and placed it on the horns of the altar; and spilled the rest of the blood at the foot of the altar.
  • 10. But the fat, and the kidneys, and the flesh of the sinful liver, he burned on the altar, as the Lord commanded Moses.
  • 11. But the flesh and skin he burned with fire outside the camp.
  • 12. And he slaughtered the burnt offering, and Aaron's sons presented the blood to him, and he sprinkled it on the altar all around.
  • 13. And they presented to him the burnt offering, with its parts, and the head; and burned them on the altar.
  • 14. And he washed the intestines and the legs, and burned them on the burnt offering on the altar.
  • 15. And he presented the offering of the people, and took the goat of the sin offering, which was for the people, and slew it, and offered it for a sin offering, even as the first.
  • 16. And he presented the burnt offering, and offered it according to the rite.
  • 17. He also presented the meat offering, and took a handful of it, and burned it on the altar, in addition to the morning burnt offering.
  • 18. And he slaughtered the ox and the ram for peace offerings, which were for the people; and Aaron's sons presented the blood to him, and he sprinkled it on the altar all around.
  • 19. But the fat of the ox and of the ram, the tail, and what covers the inwards, and the kidneys, and the outside of the liver;
  • 20. And they put the fat on the breasts, and burned the fat on the altar.
  • 21. And Aaron offered the breasts and the right shoulder as a wave offering before the Lord, as Moses had commanded.
  • 22. And Aaron lifted up his hands to the people, and blessed them; and he came down, having made the sin offering, the burnt offering, and the peace offering.
  • 23. And Moses and Aaron went into the tabernacle of the congregation, and went out, and blessed the people; and the glory of the Lord appeared to all the people.
  • 24. And fire went out from before the Lord, and consumed the burnt offering and the fat on the altar; When all the people saw it, they rejoiced and fell on their faces.
