The Renewal of the Lord
- 1. On that day seven women will cleave to one man, saying, “We ourselves will provide our own food and clothing; just allow us to carry your name so that we are no longer called dishonored and unmarried!”
- 2. In that day, the Branch of the Lord will be magnificent and glorious, and the fruit of the land will be the pride and honor of the remnants of Israel.
- 3. Those who are left in Zion and remain in Jerusalem will be called saints, all registered for life in Jerusalem.
- 4. When the Lord has washed away the impurity of the daughters of Zion and washed away the bloodshed in Jerusalem, through the spirit of justice and the fire of judgment,
- 5. The Lord will create over all Mount Zion and over those who congregate there a cloud of smoke during the day and a flame of bright fire during the night. The glory of the Lord will be a shelter over all.
- 6. There will be shade by day from the scorching heat and refuge and shelter from storm and rain.
