The ark

  • 1. And Bezaleel made the ark of acacia wood; its length was two and a half cubits, and a cubit and a half its width, and its height a cubit and a half.
  • 2. And he covered it with pure gold within and without; and he made a golden crown around it.
  • 3. And he cast four rings of gold on the four corners of it, two rings on one side of it, and two rings on the other side of it.
  • 4. He also made staves of acacia wood, and overlaid them with gold.
  • 5. And he put the poles into the rings on the sides of the ark, to carry the ark.
  • 6. And he made the mercy seat of pure gold; its length was two and a half cubits, and its width was one and a half cubits.
  • 7. And he made two cherubim of gold; He made them of beaten gold at the two ends of the mercy seat;
  • 8. a cherub at one end, and another cherub at the other end; of one piece with the mercy seat he made the cherubim at the two ends of it.
  • 9. And the cherubim spread out their wings above, covering the mercy seat with their wings; their faces were facing each other; the faces of the cherubim were toward the mercy seat.

The table

  • 35. And he made the table of acacia wood; its length was two cubits, and its width was one cubit, and its height was a cubit and a half.
  • 36. And he overlaid it with pure gold, and made a crown of gold around it.
  • 12. He also made a frame for it a span smaller around it, and made it a crown of gold around it.
  • 13. And he made four rings of gold for her, and put the rings on the four corners that were on her four feet.
  • 14. The rings were next to the frame, like supports for the clotheslines, to carry the table.
  • 15. And he made the poles of acacia wood, and overlaid them with gold, to carry the table.
  • 16. He also made the utensils that were on the table, his plates, his spoons, his cups and his bowls with which he was to be offered, of pure gold.

The candlestick

  • 17. And he made the lampstand of pure gold; of beaten gold he made the lampstand; his pedestal, and his stem, and his cup, and his apples, and his flowers, were of one piece with him.
  • 18. And six branches came out of it: three branches of the lampstand on one side of it, and three branches of the lampstand on the other side of it.
  • 19. In the first arm came a cup shaped like an almond blossom, a calix and an apple; and in the other arm came a cup in the shape of an almond blossom, a calix and an apple; so also in the six branches that came out of the lampstand.
  • 20. And on the branch of the candlestick were four cups shaped like almond blossoms, their cups and their apples;
  • 21. and a calix under the two branches of the lampstand; a calix under the two arms of the lampstand; a calix under the two arms of the lampstand, for the six arms that came out of it.
  • 22. The apples and his arms were of one piece with him; everything was a single piece of beaten, pure gold.
  • 23. He also made his seven lamps, his lamps and his extinguishers of pure gold.
  • 24. He made them from a talent of pure gold, with all their utensils.

The incense altar

  • 25. He also made the altar of incense of acacia wood; its length was a cubit, and its width was a cubit; It was square, and its height was two cubits; its ends came out of it.
  • 26. And he overlaid it with pure gold, its top, and its walls round about, and its horns; and he made a golden crown around it.
  • 27. He also made two gold rings for him under his crown; on both sides he made them, to put the poles with which he was to carry himself.
  • 28. And he made the staves of acacia wood, and overlaid them with gold.
  • 29. He also made the holy anointing oil, and the pure incense of spices, according to the work of a perfumer.
