Rules about sexual relations

- 2. Speak to the children of Israel, and say to them: I am the LORD your God.
- 3. You shall not do as is done in the land of Egypt, where you lived; nor shall you do as is done in the land of Canaan, whither I am bringing you; neither shall ye walk in his statutes.
- 4. Ye shall do my judgments, and keep my statutes, to walk in them. I am the LORD your God.
- 5. Therefore you shall keep my statutes and my judgments; which, when man has made them, he will live by them. I am the LORD.
- 6. No man shall approach any relative of his flesh to uncover her nakedness. I am the LORD.
- 7. You will uncover the nakedness of your father, or the nakedness of your mother; She is your mother, you shall not uncover her nakedness.
- 8. You shall not uncover the nakedness of your father's wife; It's your father's nakedness.
- 9. The nakedness of your sister, your father's daughter, or your mother's daughter, whether born at home or born abroad, you shall not uncover her nakedness.
- 10. The nakedness of your son's daughter, or of your daughter's daughter, you shall not uncover; because it is your nakedness.
- 11. The nakedness of the daughter of your father's wife, begotten of your father, is your sister; you will not uncover their nakedness.
- 12. You shall not uncover the nakedness of your father's sister; She is your father's relative.
- 13. You shall not uncover the nakedness of your mother's sister; because she is your mother's relative.
- 14. Thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of thy father's brother; you will not reach his wife; It's your aunt.
- 15. Thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of thy daughter-in-law; is your son's wife; you will not uncover their nakedness.
- 16. You shall not uncover the nakedness of your brother's wife; it is your brother's nakedness.
- 17. You shall not uncover the nakedness of a woman and her daughter; You shall not take his son's daughter, nor his daughter's daughter, to uncover their nakedness; relatives are; evil is.
- 18. And you shall not take a wife with your sister, to make her your rival, by uncovering your nakedness before her in her life.
- 19. And the woman when she is in the period of her menstrual impurity, at her separation, her impurity will be upon her.
- 20. You shall not approach your neighbor's wife to defile yourself with her.
- 21. And you shall not give any of your sons to pass through the fire to Molech; You shall not profane the name of your God. I am the LORD.
- 22. You shall not lie with a man as with a woman; abomination is.
- 23. Nor shall you lie down with any animal, to defile yourself with it; Neither shall a woman stand before an animal, to gather with it; confusion is.
- 24. Do not defile yourselves in any of these things, for in all these things the nations whom I cast out before you have defiled themselves.
- 25. Therefore the land is contaminated; and I visit their iniquity, and the earth vomits out its inhabitants.
- 26. You shall therefore keep my statutes and my judgments, and you shall do none of these abominations, neither the native-born nor the foreigner who sojourns among you.
- 27. (For all these abominations did the men of this land, who were in it before you; and the land was defiled;)
- 28. so that the land does not vomit you out, when you have defiled it, as it vomited out the people who were in it before you.
- 29. But whoever does any of these abominations, even those who do them, will be cut off from among their people.
- 30. Therefore, you will keep my commandment, not doing any of the abominable practices that were done before you, and do not defile yourselves with them. I am the LORD your God.
